Police seek repeat armed robber wearing hockey mask

This from www.ydr.com.....York City Police are investigating five attempted gunpoint robberies in the Avenues neighborhood, near the York Expo Center, in the last three months.

In all five incidents, the robber has approached female victims with a handgun while wearing a "Halloween" or "Scream"-style white hockey mask, police said. Property was stolen from at least one victim.

The most recent attempt was reported at 5:50 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Maryland Avenue. Others were reported in the 500 and 600 blocks of Linden Avenue and Madison Avenue, police said.

No further details were available.

The robber is described as a male in his 30s wearing black pants, a black shirt and possibly black latex gloves. One victim described the man as having a medium build with small eyes and small lips.
