Adult Superhero Halloween Costume Ideas 2010

When it comes to Halloween, adult superhero costume choices will once again be big hits for 2010's edition of the holiday.  There's plenty of timeless heroes, as well as those who have been featured in new movies from the Marvel and DC filmmakers.  Here's some costume ideas to help you make a unique or great choice for your outfit on October 31.
Probably the most popular choice for 2010 will be the Iron Man 2 Halloween costumes.  The successful sequel featured several characters who adults can choose from for October 31st.  Women in particular welcome the Black Widow costume, worn by the sultry Scarlett Johansson in the film, which features a full black skinsuit.  There's also "Ironette" which is a great female version of Iron Man.  Adult males can of course be Iron Man, War Machine or Whiplash.

In addition to Iron Man's characters, there's also the classic comic characters which include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Supergirl.  Jonah Hex, Watchmen and the upcoming "Avengers" film also offer some newer characters to dress up as.  Females can choose from several sexy superhero costumes including Megan Fox's character from Jonah Hex, or Silk Spectre II from Watchmen.  Males can choose from the likes of the Hulk, Thor, Captain America from "The Avengers" or Dr. Manhattan from "Watchmen."

There's no doubt that there's a variety of great Halloween costume ideas for 2010, but in particular it allows kids and adults to become something else.  For a night or two or three you can take on the identity of a powerful superhero, wow the opposite sex (or your friends) and possibly save the Universe!
